What can I say??? I really have no words to describe how much I love Julie Heffernan's paintings. She received her M.F.A. in painting at YALE. Yes, she is a true master. Her work has been described as hybrid of genres and styles, mixing allegory, portraiture, history painting, and still life, while in title they are all presented as self portraits. Also, I should mention she paints huge - painting above is 78 x 56 inches. To see these in person would be an amazing life experience.
